Tonight’s demonstration is by fine artist Colin Davies who will paint a seascape in acrylics – ‘Crashing Waves’.

Colin works in a rich, expressive style applying generous amounts of paint using a ‘swift, tumultuous sweep of a palette knife’. This is then fine tuned with detailed brushwork. Colin worked in education as a Head Teacher but left this career behind to become a professional artist and tutor in 2019.

During the evening, we will break midway for free tea, coffee and biscuits. This will give us an opportunity to chat to the artist and ask questions. We’ll also catch up with each other and of course say hello to our visitors.
