The Talk - Kieran McBride ; My Artistic Journey

“…. joining Thornbury Art Club was a great way to meet like minded artists, who also showed their prowess at Thornbury Summer Art Show in July 2025”

One of our new Club members - Kieran McBride - will entertain us with a fascinating talk about his back story and how he became an artist, joining Thornbury Art Club only 18 months ago.

A love of art in his teens was overshadowed by a strong ambition to become a doctor. Kieran trained at the prestigious Trinity College, Dublin, becoming a vascular surgeon then consultant interventional radiologist.

Come and listen about his journey from surgeon to watercolour artist. Learn about some of his techniques and artistic successes and how he’s now building his art business.
