Barry loves to travel with his sketch book, capturing scenes, whether it be his beloved landscapes, the buzz of the city and it’s inhabitants or even portraits. His favourite medium is watercolour with the fascination of it’s transparency and movement as colours mingle and unfurl on the paper.

For tonight’s demo Barry will capture the crash of waves in a seascape. He uses the transparency and movement of watercolours to build an emotive and colourful composition through his layering and flicking techniques.
