This is a much-awaited event after Tom sadly had to cancel last June due to unforseen circumstances.

“A true Plein Air Artist”

Tom Hughes will be visiting the club to demonstrate his skills in painting a London street scene in oils.

Tom loves being out there in all the elements, rain or shine. He is a true plein air painter and award- winning artist, based in Bristol.

Hampstead tube, late for school.

Tom will focus on creating the illusion of detail with mark-making and brushwork.

Tom makes a special ruler for leaning on to make straight lines which he can offer for sale at the event (Some of us already have one, they are great!)
