Outdoor Sketching

Come and join us for a bit of sketching.

Get some fresh air, company and coffee whilst doing your favourite hobby!

We aim to run this event every 2nd Saturday of the month

(However, we’ll be taking a break from organised events in December and January).

Practical Details

Duration: Meet at the location for 10am. We will then wind up around 12 noon.
Wear appropriate clothing and footwear according to the weather.
Bring your favourite sketching materials - eg. pen, pencils, charcoal, simple watercolours and a sketching pad.
Bring a Seat: We recommend bringing something to sit on, like a folding chair, plus a plastic bag in case we sit on benches that might still be damp.
Social Time at the Café: After sketching, we'll head to a nearby café for tea, coffee, and friendly chat, sharing our work and ideas.
Car Sharing: We try to car share so please contact Shirley or Bob to make arrangements.
Location Information: Details will be posted in our WhatsApp group plus being emailed out to Sketching group members. Please contact Shirley or Bob if you are new to the Sketchers Group and would like to come along.
Free for Members: This event is open and free for art club members only. However, non-members are invited to join us for a free taster session, just get in touch.
