Autumn Colours and Tree canopies
Workshop with Catherine Beale
Spend the day getting familiar with Catherine’s exciting, loose way of using wet-in-wet watercolour with stepped help throughout. From washes and poured colour, to dripped and puddled pigment, mixed on the painting to maintain bright hues. Be shown how to place delicate patterns on top once dry and add detailed brush marks and dense drops of tubed paint to create an atmospheric scene that is bursting with augmented autumn colour.
A professional artist, her work has been in many group and solo exhibitions and can be found in private and public collections worldwide. Catherine is a member of the Society of Women Artists.
